ALPHA SCOUT Partners with Deion Sanders TRUTH Camps

(Date) ALPHA SCOUT, an innovative new social networking platform that connects student athletes of all ages to coaches, scouts and recruiters, has announced a partnership with football and baseball great Deion Sanders and his TRUTH Camps for youth performance training. Sanders is putting his National Football League and Major League Baseball experience to work sharpening the skills of young prospects in these and other sports, including soccer. He introduced the ALPHA SCOUT concept at a TRUTH camp in early March in Dallas, and plans to continue making it part of the program when sessions tentatively resume this summer, in person or online.

ALPHA SCOUT founders Raul Varela and Dustin Collins added some excitement to the motivational and performance training sessions with the surprise award of 29 529 College Savings Plan starter scholarships of $250 each. The grants recognized their status as ALPHA SCOUT founding members, and will help the student athletes and their parents establish and sustain a program for meeting education expenses while they seek opportunities and scholarships.
